THE ULTIMATE, COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL COACHING
Over the past thirty years I have been coaching business CEOs, Head-Coaches, Coaches and more so players and athletes in various fields of sports, from Tennis, Golf, Soccer, American Football, Alpine Ski Racing and so forth, from total beginning Amateurs to the Highest Professional Level. Some of their gradual and constant achievements are outlined in my profile.
In some parts of my work, I am co-operating with one of my former semi-professional football players who is now a Leading Physical, Technical and Nutritional Coach, Diploma-Sports Scientist (univ.), and Professional Football Coach (UEFA-A-Licence), Thomas Mooser. Together we are coaching young Professional Lead-Players. Within this capacity we have created an ideal situation which will greatly accelerate this process to raise and sustain their consistency at the highest level of performance.
Even though mental coaching is my main field of expertise, I have also acquired an in-depth knowledge and practical insight of the core of the very basis of the physical and technical aspects of sports. I have always perceived and worked with all these attributes purely as “One”.
The very essence of my work is based moreso on Real Patience, Sincerity, Pure Yoy, Greater Calmness, above all Consistency with a Deeper Sense of Trust with utmost Gratitude and by taking Personal Responsibility. Throughout my professional coaching career, up till now, I have coached and put these highest principle values of reality into my day-to-day practice by experiencing and living that. The first stepping stone is from the very early stage until a player finishes his or her professional career, this process is the most precious period of time in a player’s life. It is the firm foundation that strengthens their self-confidence. The primary motive and objective should be to re-focus with undivided attention and realize that one needs to seize and cherish these moments and use their time wisely. True character quality players realize that very clearly. They prepare themselves to make that real change from within with the utmost gratitude and sincerity by making use of their time effectively. Because once this precious moment is lost, this real opportunity will never be accessible again. More often one feels that we have enough time, but we are simply deluding ourself, because the reality of it all is, that it is truly not so. verpasst. Oft haben wir das Gefühl, dass wir genug Zeit haben, aber wir täuschen uns ganz einfach selbst damit, denn die Wahrheit ist, dass das nicht der Fall ist.
This unique situation has enabled them to achieve their utmost consistent progress to perform at their highest level. They have therefore been able to nurture and restore the Pure Joy of Greater Calmness, Pure Self-Confidence with Simplicity and other factors as mentioned above. Throughout the entire playing process of the game, at the most critical moments, they have been able to transform, achieve and sustain that Consistency and Continuity within that depth of calmness, most of the time under tremendous pressure. Coaching them in this capacity to sustain this high level performance, this is leading these individual players or entire teams to real success.
That is to say for me, the recovery in sports and other fields, where there is an enormous pressure, has always been one of the most crucial and ultimately significant cornerstones of an individual player. My utmost, undivided attention is directed towards the recovery process after the physical and mental injury period, during and after the entire process of the game. This practical situation of constant achievements within the recovery process on the ground, are the only real practicle aspects that matter. This is a pure fact. Ultimately, this final outcome really indicates what actually separates the true champion from the good and the average professional, regardless if it is an individual player or an entire team.
I have been coaching the US Alpine World Cup Ski Team in both disciplines (TECH/SPEED) and also the young Europa Cup Performance Development Team including some of their coaches.
I have been coaching the US Alpine World Cup Ski Team in both disciplines (TECH/SPEED) and also the young Europa Cup Performance Development Team including some of their coaches. In early December of 2013 I began to work on very specific aspects with Andrew Weibrecht. Within a space of a few weeks Andrew managed to qualify for the Olympic Winter Games, February 2014 in Sochi. The continuity of that was, he was able to excel even further and deliver an incredible and breathtaking successful performance in the Super-G. Beyond everyone’s expectations the final outcome was, on Sunday February the 16th 2014, Andrew won the Olympic silver medal in Sochi. This feat was accomplished under the most difficult and very warm conditions with a starting number of 29.
Currently I am coaching Tommy Ford in Giant Slalom, preparing him for the Winter Olympic in China after a heavy crash with severe injury in Adelboden in January 2021. Under my guidance Tommy won his first World Cup at the age of 30 in Beaver Creek and two more podium positions.
